 Powerbond Race Performance Balancer The POWERBOND Race Series brings the advantages of bonded balancers to high revving race and street/race applications where an SFI approved balancer is required. Every Race Series POWERBOND balancer features a precision CNC machined AUSI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring. The steel inertia ring of the Race Series models is positively protected against forward and backward movement and has the assurance of bonded rubber to eliminate spinning. Every model has easy to read computer etched timing marks. Electric Renault to take on 2,000-mile Pod Point challenge
Wed, 04 Jun 2014A RENAULT Zoe electric car is about to cover 2,000 miles up and down the country to prove that a linked and entirely functional network of electric charging points already exists. The full-electric supermini will take on challenges, attempt to break records and join in for loads of festivities throughout the 17-day grand tour, all using public electric charging points. What's more, Pod Point, the company behind the endeavour, will install more points wherever it thinks they're needed on its route around Great Britain.

Fri, 05 Jul 2013Hyundai let a troop of 4 & 5 year olds loose on an i30 to test quality Last year, Hyundai let a troop of 40 safari park baboons loose on an i30 to see if, left to their own devices, they could trash Hyundai’s very well bolted together (just ask Martin Winterkorn) i30. It was a clever way to demonstrate that the i30 doesn’t just look good, but is made of a bit more than recycled baked bean cans and Fairy liquid bottles. The i30 came through the baboon test with flying colours (even the company tasked with cleaning it up after the baboons commented on the story that they were impressed by how unscathed the i30 was), but Hyundai has now come up with a quality test that makes the baboon adventure look like a walk in the (safari) park.

The overall interior architecture is a clear evolution of the current car's, with a wave-form IP and a separate binnacle but, as you would expect from the latest generation of a car famous for its pioneering tech, it hosts a vast array of electronic innovations. The all-digital gauge pack and 12.3-inch high-resolution center display features Splitview dual-display technology and the fifth-generation Comand system powered by an Intel Atom processor, controlled by a rotary dial.
